Public Space Potluck – Thursday 9/12

Public Space Potluck 9.9.13

UPDATE: This event has been cancelled due to threat of thunderstorms this evening.

Join Hester Street Collaborative and the Lower East Side Waterfront Alliance on Thursday September 12th from 6-8pm for the second Public Space Potluck hosted with the Design Trust for Public Space. We will be celebrating the new public space at Pier 42. Learn about the five art and design installations created as part of Paths to Pier 42 and the future developments happening at this site.

(As always, we’ll bring the cups, plates, utensils, and drinks.)

Pier 42 is located along the East River between the Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges. The temporary park site is on the south side of the FDR Drive with entrances from the East River Greenway at Montgomery Street and through Corlears Hook Park at Cherry Street. The nearest subway station is the F train at East Broadway.

Public Space Potlucks are an ongoing program of the Design Trust for Public Space. Join us in enjoying one of NYC’s public spaces over food, drinks, and stimulating conversation.
